Contact a Lawyer if a Friend or Family Member has Been Arrested

Following an arrest, your friend or family members have no contact with the outside world. Police investigators take advantage of this situation and move swiftly to question them before they can have a lawyer visit in the Larimer County jail and be advised to remain silent. An immediate jail consultation with a criminal defense lawyer can make the difference between a guilty verdict and an acquittal. During our Fort Collins lawyer jail meetings, your loved ones are assured they are not alone, and are told how the system really works. They are equipped to remain silent and stand firm until you can bond or bail them out. In the Fort Collins Police Department’s race to the Larimer County Jail to question your friend or family, send our lawyers to the Fort Collins jail to meet with them and protect their future.

Bail and Bonds:

The Larimer County Jail allows bail and bonds to be posted by an individual, or by a licensed bonding agent. You may also visit TouchPay’s website to post cash bonds, or use the kiosk in the lobby.

  • Bonding is done 24-hours a day in the jail lobby.
  • A listing of licensed bonding agents is available in the lobby.
  • All bonds require a $10 bonding fee.
  • There is a $30 booking fee following arrest.

Note: In some cases, if you post a cash bond, you may receive it back in full at the end of the case (assuming that the inmate obeys all the conditions of the bond, and appears in court). A surety bond (using a bonding agent) is like renting money for a fee – you will only receive back a portion of the money that was posted as a fee for the agent.
